With 400 families in our active membership when full, Kenmont is more than just a place to swim and play tennis; it's a place to connect with friends in the community and to BBQ and relax. We look forward to you joining us.

Please note:

A family member is considered a person living in the same household and at the same address, and legally related to the primary member. We reserve the right to request proof of relationship in order to determine any family member listed is eligible for membership as part of this family. Kenmont also allows au-pairs, nannies, or child care providers to be listed as an eligible family member provided that they are working at least 20 hours per week in this capacity. Kenmont does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, national origin, religion, age, sex or disability.

Mini-August Memberships

Kenmont has an August-only option for people on the waiting list. If you are on the waiting list and are interested in being offered a chance to use the club for the month of August for a flat fee of $350, please contact membership@kenmont.com and request to be considered for this option.  This access option is for August only and does not guarantee or in any way imply that you will be offered full membership the following season. Offers for this Mini-August Membership will be made beginning in early July of each season.

Capital Improvement Fees

A $150.00 capital improvement fee will be added annually to each membership to fund capital improvements to the Kenmont facility.

Maintaining Your Membership

Each year members must maintain their membership by:

  • paying Annual Dues for Active Status, or
  • paying $300 a year maintenance fee for Inactive Status

If a an Installment member fails to maintain their membership, they lose 1/3 value of their "membership interest" for each year not maintained.  Once the "membership interest" reaches zero ($0), the member loses all rights to their membership. More information is available in the By-Laws.

Renew

Selling Your Membership

Fully-paid members who have maintained their membership and have a full "membership interest" may sell their Membership to another family (Transfer) or to the board (Repurchase). The selling family must pay Kenmont a one-time  fee of $500.

Waiting List

Join our Waitlist

Kenmont is currently at capacity and accepting wait list applications for membership.

Wait time: The time from being added to our wait list to being offered membership depends on a number of variables. We expect that people adding their names to our current waiting list will have a 2-3 year wait, but we offer no guarantees.

The non-refundable, non-assignable wait list fee is $85.00 and may only be paid by credit card. Early application is highly encouraged. You remain on the wait list until we offer you a spot or until you tell us to remove your name. We will contact you once a membership is available, typically in April of the upcoming swim season.

Only the primary member needs to be registered for the wait list. Your name will remain on the wait list until the Kenmont Swim & Tennis Club offer you a spot or until you tell the Club to remove your registration from our list.

Waitlist Process

  1. Waitlist applications for new membership will be reviewed in the order received.
  2. As memberships become available, usually after the registration renewal period ends for current members on or around April 1 of each year, waitlist applicants will be notified that there is an available membership.
  3. When notified of an available membership, waitlist applicants will have seven (7) days from date of notification to complete an application for membership and submit full payment of initiation fee and dues.
  4. If the application and payment is not submitted within seven (7) days of notification, the offer of membership may be revoked.

Kenmont is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail, bounced e-mails, or telephone problems. Please ensure that you provide contact information that will be valid at the time of notification. If you move or change contact information, you are solely responsible for updating it with Kenmont.
