The Board is made up of eleven Active Class A Members who are volunteers, and are chosen by vote of all Active Class A Members who attend the Annual Membership Meeting in May.


All Kenmont members are welcome to attend meetings of the Board of Directors. Please check the calendar for meeting dates.

Interested in joining the Board of Directors? 

The Kenmont Board of Directors is always on the lookout for motivated members who are interested in making Kenmont even better by joining the board!


General Board Duties:


  • Meet twice per month during the summer season; once a month in the off season
  • Maintain member registration and wait list
  • Set rates and fees for membership
  • Oversee and help with opening/closing the pool at the beginning/end of the season
  • Evaluate and prioritize maintenance and capital improvements to the facility
  • Discuss  and resolve issues raised by our membership such as:
  • general upkeep and cleanliness of the facility
  • safety concerns
  • other day-to-day pool operations.
  • Set and monitor budget
  • Hire and oversee pool management company, including negotiation of hours, dates, and services provided.
  • Hire and oversee contracts for services such as landscaping, insurance, trash pickup, court maintenance
  • Work with the Tsunami Swim Team to coordinate swim team and club activities
  • Volunteer (and recruit member volunteers) for our special member events
  • Maintain pool calendar
  • Post to social media
  • Send regular member email communications
  • Maintain Kenmont website


Length of Service:


  • Terms are  3 years
  • Maximum service of 3 consecutive terms; can run again after break
